I don't set out to produce art about one subject or another. My work tends to focus on current emotions influenced by what I'm experiencing at the moment. Life has a way of falling into place after the struggles, and that is what I try to communicate through my Artwork. Although I use a variety of mediums and processes in each piece my methodology is consistent.

Artist Tip!

Draw with a brush instead of a pencil.

When starting a new painting on canvas, draw with a brush instead of a pencil. When we draw with a pencil we tend to spend more time drawing in details. This can be time consuming and unnecessary extra work since the pencil drawing will disappear as soon as you begin to paint over it. Instead use a brush and watered down paint to sketch and plan out the placement of things. You will cut your working time significantly and you will be happy that you didn't have to redraw the same image twice.
